WE INVITE YOU TO BE A PART OF PESCA SUR 2011 For it’s fourth time, the city of Concepción will be the meeting place for the national and international fisheries industry, a top-level event known for is warm and friendly ambience, which is ideal for generating commercial links and relations. PESCA SUR is a part of the international agenda for tradeshows. Its fourth version will be held between October 26 thru 29, 2011. This event reunites diverse personalities within the national and international fisheries community; among them are authorities, businesses, investors, executives, researchers, academics, workers and students, of who will have the opportunity to appreciate new technologies and the generation of new business and contacts. VERSION 2009 According to the statistics, the third version of PESCA SUR reached a participation of more than 10,000 visitors. The profile of visitors and decision makers regarding the purchase of equipment and services was the following:   With respect to the level of satisfaction of the exhibitors, the survey results show that 96% of the companies considered the organization of the event as good/very good. In addition, exhibitors commented in the survey that they improved relationships with their current customers, made contacts with potential clients interested in their products and/or services, and generated commercial alliances. “Our responsibility is to provide the best scenario our exhibitors, so that they are happy with the results of their participation; and this was widely achieved especially for the participation of our foreign visitors. This was a surprise for us, since, due to the complicated economic situation in which we’re living, we thought that the tradeshow would be primarily national event. But we saw the great importance of the public from countries such as Peru and Ecuador as well,” commented Margarita Vergara, general manager of TechnoPress. The executive added, “We can easily say that the Bío Bío Region has an international fishery tradeshow.”
